Bright Minds Learning Center....

.... where bright futures begin

worshipIf your child is struggling in phonics, spelling, reading or story writing due to dyslexia or other reading deficits, then Bright Minds Learning Center is your answer to long term grade improvements.

Bright Minds Learning Center was developed using the Orton-Gillingham Multisensory teaching method.  This intense highly structured curriculum is the most effective method of teaching children and adults with dyslexia and other similar reading deficits.

Our curriculum consists of intensive One on One multisensory tutoring that focuses on getting your child to the mastery level of Phonemic Awareness Tasks which is either at or above their current grade level.

Even if your child has not been diagnosed as having dyslexia; maybe he or she is just a slow reader,  lacks sufficient reading comprehension or is just simply a borderline reader.  Your child will still benefit greatly from our multisensory curriculum.

Is it safe to say that you've tried other tutoring programs and saw no long term grade improvements?  Is it safe to say that you even saw regression after your child completed the program?  Well, that's because, while these tutoring programs are beneficial to some students, they ARE NOT designed to teach the student with dyslexia or other reading deficits.  To find out what tutoring programs won't work simply because they ARE NOT designed to break through dyslexia, click here.

I know how frustrating it can be to watch your child struggle with the very basics of Phonemic Awareness.  This struggle does not have to continue but.....

Reading and  Spelling struggles only worsen without Early Intervention. Ignoring it  WILL NOT make it go away.  Call us today at (757) 585-4005 or email us at info@brightmindslc.com for more information or to schedule your FREE Consultation / Assessment.

Our Approach

life groupsOur approach is tried, true and proven.  We use the Orton-Gillingham multisensory teaching method.  This method was developed in 1930 by Neuropsychiatrist Samuel Orton and Psychologist and Educator Anna Gillingham.  Our curriculum is customized for each student and is presented in highly sequenced and structured lessons.
